Good morning to all!! Many of us have been "hiding" in Tom Brady's chat room until now (thanks Deb!!) As for me, I lived the first 50 years of my life in Westchester County, NY until I moved to Richmond, VA in 9/06 and now I'm in Orlando, FL (moved 9/07). If I'm trying to make my way to Portland, OR I think I'm going about it the wrong way. But I wanted to share a quick story. One of the times I had spoken with Mark several months ago, I told him my name and he didn't miss a beat, "We're getting a lot of Marlenes calling tonight." I got a kick out of that and knew he had to have just spoken to "the other Marlene" in Tom Brady's chat room, and I was right!!

Good morning to ya'll too! Like Marty says it's hot and humid here! I sure wish we had some of that rain that's flooding other parts of the country. Our prayers go out to all of the ones who have lost their homes.

Good morning to all! I don't even know what the temperature is here right now - I just dragged my lazy self out of bed.

lilgirl, we would gladly send some of our extra rain your way! Hopefully we won't get any more until some of Indiana's many flooding victims have had a chance to dry out. The same areas just kept getting slapped over and over again with torrential rain.

But it's dry and clear and sunny here today - that much I can tell from a glance out my office window. I think a big dose of "happy" is in store today!

Well, it's not morning anymore but anyway... GOOD AFTERNOON. Warm here in the mountains of East TN, but not too warm. Teri, we'd love to have some of that rain! My horse's pasture is about to dry up. I am going to be buying hay be the middle of July at this rate!!

Speaking of Tom Brady, I heard on a Yahoo message board that Tom had an accident and broke both arms. We wish you well Tom!

If I remember correctly what Tom's wife, Jeannie, said in chat Saturday night, Tom fell "over a wire" during the day. He broke both his arms by the elbows and cut his face. She said he wouldn't be on-line for several weeks but I'm sure he's appreciating all the well wishes he's been receiving. Heal fast, Tom!!

Good after-morning! I'm dragging, but I too have lots to do, so I'm trying to get moving. That great big huge cup of coffee I fixed this morning would have done me some good had the cats not decided the carpet could use it more. I somehow have my doubts about that - and now I get to add carpet cleaning to my list of things to do today. Whoo-HOO!!

Thunderstorms on the way, so I guess it's a good day to get things done inside. I'll let you know how that goes once I get back home. LOL.
