In London on Wednesday a fifteen-year-old calico cat named Dixie returned home after disappearing in 1999.
Her owners thought she had been hit by a car. She was identified by an embedded microchip-- turning up less than a mile from her home after a concerned resident rang an animal shelter to report a thin and disheveled cat that had been hanging around for months. Her owner was "overjoyed" to have her back. She stated:"We don't think she has stopped purring since she came back through the door.." =^..^= ~*Donna*~ |

Animals never cease to amaze me. My husband was taking the dog out the other morning and our cat was playing with a bunny. They were chasing each other around the yard. Now they sit together in the yard early in the morning and at nightfall. It is adorable.

someone sent me a email about a dog or cat that adopted a orphaned squirrel and nursed it with her litter. T he squirrel was now a cat. If only people acted the same way toward other people. We are different but still the same.
