Hmmmm, now, that is an interesting topic. I think I would BBQ to music that I normally love...hehehe....lots of Raiders and Stones and Beatles and Who and Yardbirds and Animals and Kinks and Byrds and Beach Boys and then on to the more obscure cuts......
The song that immediately came to mind was "Fire!" by the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, followed by "Cheeseburger in Paradise." (Note: my DH hates CIB with a passion. I figure any song that mentions Kosher pickles and cold beer can't be bad! )
----- You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred.
Actually, the song I thought of is one that was on the radio at our 6th grade end-of-the-year-picnic...."Those Lazy Hazy Crazy Days of Summer"--Nat King Cole.
Once we're hungry, we all gotta get together, break out the country wine, strike up the boys in the band, and let me do the cookin! You can ride on my shoulders as we boogaloo down broadway cause I was born to be wild! And I'll keep the price down, but money (that's what I want)!
Oh, gee, are there some Raider/Mark tunes in there???
Babro, just another Small Town Woman

It's just like me to tell you when I'm grillin' you can look, don't touch the burgers. Glad you could make it to the BBQ, you look so pretty pretty. Since you've been too long on the road, sit, relax but don't let your food get cold. Are you old enough to drink? Please don't get out of control, but feel free to sing your own song. I've also invited the man who plays the way down low guitar. I hope you don't have to leave too soon because it's so hard to leave you. Remember, it's not a perfect world except for Saturday nights!!
Reality... what a concept
