It sure is hot here in the south parts of GA. We're doing the humidity thing again. Feels like somebody dump a bucket of sweat on you. I'm already ready for Fall. lOL

Good evening. We are sitting here under a heavy thunderstorm warning and have been for several hours. A very slow moving system. Some areas of the city have had 50 mm (about 2") of rain in 2 hours. The temp went from 26C to 17C in that length of time too! (please see http://www.wbuf.noaa.gov/tempfc.htm if you are interested, or even better http://www.worldwidemetric.com/metcal.htm). You're on your own .

We are also under a tornado watch. Funnel clouds have been spotted all over southern Manitoba, and there were 2 small torndoes earlier, outside of town. Ah, summer

Tornado warnings all around us. Dark ominous clouds moving in, and thunder off in the distance. Guess I'm shutting down for the night.

It's warm here, too, and we had a brief thunderstorm last evening, but nothing major. I really feel for those in the midwest who are dealing with storm after storm after storm.

We had an apartment complex here in Indianapolis decimated by a tornado a few weeks ago - then the flooding just south of here started. A bunch of folks decided the tornado victims had been overlooked once all the aid started going to flood victims, so they started a collection site for them at the county fairgrounds.

The response has been nothing short of phenomenal!

We had a storm last night for a change. However it went away fast and turn sticky and humid again. This morning it is nice and cool so far..

Stayed nice and cool most of the day today. The night is going to be nice too. Looking forward to a good sleep.

Scorching here too - 100 and like an oven out there. We had a wicked storm blow through earlier with 60+ mile per hr winds that blew my umbrella right off my table. Lots of thunder and lightning and DUST (I hate dust storms!!) But all is calm now - whew!

"Summer days driftin' away, to uh-oh those summer nights..." It's going to be a cool one here this evening, but sounds like we're due for some of that wind the next couple of days. Opening the windows and enjoying the evening breezes while I can.
