In my apparently "neverending quest"Smiler to bring Mark's name back to his website and have a discussion about him, his music, etc., I thought I would have another whack at it. I was thinking something in the way of testing everyones knowledge of his music. For instance, he recorded two songs with the person in the song being blind. Can anyone name these two recordings?

I encourage others to post their questions as well!!Big Grin

Marlo,

I just downloaded a couple of re-recored songs yesterday. "When you open your eyes can you see the light?" Is one of the songs you are referring to Too Much Talk?

Good topic, Marlo!

I have to admit, I'm going to have to cogitate on this one a bit before answering, but it's a good topic.

Good try, 1junebug!!Big Grin Marlene got them right -- "Windy Wakefield" and "Don't You Know."

I have another question though. Mark has two songs with references to an old man. One song has that in the title, and in the other song the line goes "I saw an old man cry today, but no one asked him why" which is a Raiders' tune. Can you name those two songs?

P.S. Marlene... Alex Trebek will be shipping out your prize to you.Wink

ADD...
Brotherly Love.
It's written in such a manner , that the
listener is the person in the song. Smiler

it's also a different kind of blind.
it's the kind of blind that is the result
of a failure to realize or refusal to
acknowledge, which opens a whole new
can of worms.Sorry, too much talk. Big Grin
